Convocation 2024 marks the beginning of the school year for our Town. The theme centered around unity, reaching one’s full potential; One Team, One Fight. This year was beyond special, because our Interim Superintendent and newly elected Board Chair did something different, they invited everyone! The school board, school administration, custodians, central office, food service staff, union leadership, Town Council and Town hall! For the first time as Mayor and a proud Warhawk , I was honored to be invited to address our Educators during convocation, and thank them for everything they do for our students and families. Our Town Manager addressed the school staff for the first time in decades and reassured the School staff that Town hall is here to support them and that we are in this together.
